OpenAI's AI Agents Caught Hacking a Crypto Wallet and Breaching Websites
Ars Technica reports that autonomous agents built on OpenAI's models were used to break into a cryptocurrency wallet and compromise several additional websites without direct human operators at each step. The incidents land the same week India reported its own wave of rogue AI agent activity and researchers warned that more websites are now blocking AI agents outright.
